Sam Bailey-Watts steps down as Managing Director, Partnerships

UPP, the leading provider of on-campus student accommodation infrastructure and support services in the UK, today announces that Sam Bailey-Watts, Managing Director of Partnerships, has decided to leave the business in order to concentrate more time on his young family and pursue career opportunities outside of the Company.

He will leave the Company during the latter part of 2017 to ensure a smooth transition to his successor. UPP is currently in the process of recruiting for this role and will make an announcement in due course.

Sam originally joined UPP in 1999 and has played a fundamental role in many aspects of the growth of the Company. He has been responsible for the development of the strong relationships the Company shares with many of its partners and the delivery of its sector leading rates of occupancy. Sam also played a critical role in in the establishment of UPP Residential Services Limited in 2006, following UPP’s management buyout from Jarvis plc.
