1,711 rooms in central London

The flagship redevelopment of Garden Halls – involving more than £140 million of investment – is one of the largest student developments in London. The redevelopment responds to a strong demand from students for high-quality accommodation, located close to their place of study in central London.

The partnership, established in 2013, involved us designing and financing the scheme, thereafter operating the scheme for 50 years.

The state of the art accommodation comprises 1,200 study bedrooms along with catering and social space facilities, helping to enhance the learning and living experience and enabling students to create a strong community when living away from home for the first time.

Construction is also underway for Duncan House, our second transaction with the University of London and a further demonstration of the level ofconfidence the financial community has in our unique partnership approach, the University of London as an institution and the UK Higher Education sector as a long-term investment proposition.

The development will be a mixed-use 33-storey landmark building providing in excess of 18,000m2 of new accommodation and will involve us operating 511 new study bedrooms and communal space for the length of the concession.

Located in the heart of Stratford, this exciting scheme will offer future generations of students’ competitively priced accommodation and facilities of the highest quality.
