UPP is delighted to announce that following a rigorous application and judging process we have been awarded a Gold Award and Highly Commended in the Facilities Management Industry Sector from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
Last year, we were Commended in the FM sector, so this represents a step up and also marks the seventh consecutive year that we have been awarded a RoSPA Gold award or higher.
The award demonstrates our commitment to health and safety excellence and dedication to ensuring that our colleagues, residents, customers and contractors get home safely at the end of the day.
The RoSPA Awards programme is celebrating its 68th year as the UK’s largest and most impactful health and safety programme. With almost 2,000 entries annually from over 50 countries, impacting over seven million employees, they offer a platform to spotlight an unwavering commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in health and safety.
UPP’s designation of Highly Commended by RoSPA shows that we stand among leaders shaping safer, healthier workplaces.
Head of Safety, Health and Wellbeing at UPP, Craig Cole, said:
“This award is a fantastic reflection of the hard work by teams across the country, continuously improving the health and safety of all our sites. To be Highly Commended shows that we have kept health and safety at the heart of what we do. This is a consistent focus for us at UPP and we are very proud to have been awarded Gold or higher for seven consecutive years.”
