Operating a
thriving campus

Creating an environment that feels like home

A successful campus is about so much more than buildings. It’s about the environment, the atmosphere, the people – creating that sense of home that will help students feel safe and secure, that will help them thrive.

At UPP, we understand just how important this is. That’s why we offer our university partners a range of facilities management services designed not just to support the longevity and safety of the building but to ensure students enjoy a high quality of life throughout their stay.

Why UPP?

UPP has over 20 years’ experience in the management of residential and academic accommodation – and we take pride in helping our students feel at home

Putting people first

We pay the Living Wage Foundation pay rate as a minimum, and invest in internal training and external development for our teams to ensure we retain our people. This is a key ingredient in providing a safe and welcoming environment for our students.

Proven track record

We deliver facilities management services to bespoke SLAs for all our partners and we are able to support all services throughout the year, including through vacation periods, helping our partners to maximise their commercial revenue.

Helping students belong

We support students from arrival through to departure. Many of our staff volunteer throughout intake to help students settle-in on arrival, and we run an annual programme of Residential Life activities, including welcome and orientation; life skills; community building; cultural events and health and wellbeing support, to ensure students feel at home.
