Sustainability, biodiversity and accessibility prioritised to meet student needs

The University of Exeter and UPP established their partnership in 2009. Since then, UPP have redeveloped and built 4,100 rooms offering a wide range of accommodation options to Exeter’s students.

Our most recent developments at East Park have garnered recognition across the industry for their innovative design approach and their focus on green spaces as a way to foster biodiversity, enhance sustainability and help support student wellbeing.

Ensuite rooms

The ensuite rooms are arranged into flats of up to 9 and share an open plan kitchen, living and dining area. Each bedroom is equipped fitted furniture; a wardrobe, shelving, desk, pedestal, chair, noticeboards and an ensuite bathroom.

Standard rooms

The rooms are arranged into flats of 8 – 10 students who then share an open plan kitchen, living and dining area.

Each bedroom is equipped with fitted furniture; a wardrobe, shelving, desk, pedestal, chair, noticeboards. A bathroom is shared between two students.

Studios

Each studio offers open plan living including a double bed, workstation, ensuite and kitchen dining area. Larger rooms are available for couples.

Townhouses

Each townhouse offers 12 bedrooms across 3 floors, with 6 shower rooms and a shared kitchen diner on the ground floor. Each room has a bed, fitted furniture and a workstation.
