Innovative solutions to support the Student Experience

We are delighted to continue to evolve our technical capabilities including innovative solutions to support the Student convenience across campus. 

Our Homes at Halls app, which can be ‘white labelled’ to support our client’s requirements is a ‘single pane of glass’ portal that provides quick, open communication with our front-line teams. The ‘Home at Halls’ support service can also be accessed by a desktop computer and/or phone, however, the app is a quick and easy means for students to access support. The app will enable students and staff to report spillages,  faults, and maintenance issues and interfaces seamlessly with our CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Management) system Planon. The app also supports accommodation room check information, enabling easy inventory management and auditing and a smooth check-in process. The app can support students where English is not their first language, enabling them to interact more easily, smoothing their initial experience and enhancing their first impressions.

One-Stop Shop App

Other functionalities of the app to support our clients include Staff Management, Residence Management, Inventories and real-time Inspections, Faults/Tasks, Damages Charges, Post Management, Space Bookings, Management of Campus and Residents Visitors, News/Events, Useful Information, Surveys, reporting when Residents have gone home and integration in our Rental Management System.

We are committed At UPP to evolving and developing this  ‘one-stop shop’ app and actively seek feedback from our customers to support this evolution.
